Slalom Race

New to the PotomacFest 2009 --- slalom racing and more!

A citizen's slalom race has been added to the agenda for Sunday. Join us at the Feeder Canal at Lock 6 for a race open to all ages and all boats. There will be classes for kayaks, C1, C2 and open boats. Recreational boaters as well as experienced racers are invited to join in this new PotomacFest event!

To add to the excitement, there will also be some special events. These will include a race for hand-paddlers and a Team Race, a revival of an old slalom favorite, where three boats race together as a team against the clock. Only at the PotomacFest --- come join the fun!
